10 September 2025 – UniCredit Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of the competition for eight scholarships supporting PhD programs in Economics, dedicated to the memory of Marco Fanno, Giovanna Crivelli, and Fabrizio Saccomanni. This initiative aims to nurture young talent and promote academic excellence at some of the world’s most prestigious universities.

Scholarship Details
UniCredit Foundation offers a total of eight scholarships (3 Marco Fanno, 3 Crivelli Europe, 2 Fabrizio Saccomanni) for doctoral studies in Economics, featuring:

• Total value: €65,000 gross for the entire duration of the scholarship, to cover living expenses and any applicable tuition fees
• Duration: 2 years, commencing with the 2026/27 academic year
• Eligibility: The scholarship is incompatible with any other funding that fully covers tuition and/or living expenses.

Key Dates

• Application submission deadline: 14 November 2025
• Announcement of winners: by 2 February 2026
